Ever spent a night in the police station?

The Old Police Station is an idyllic holiday cottage sleeping 2-4 people, offering self-catering accommodation in the lovely valley of Edale, close to Castleton, in the Peak District National Park. The cottage has stunning views of the nearby iron age hill fort known as Mam Tor as well as down the valley to Loose Hill. Modern conversion featuring Wifi, wet shower room, flat screen TVs and underfloor heating.
Edale and the Hope Valley lie in the centre of the Peak District, conveniently situated for walking from the door to Kinder Scout, mountain biking, climbing and all types of outdoor activities. It is also a perfect location from which to explore all the major attractions of the Peak District, such as Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, Dove Dale, Castleton caverns etc.
The cottage is well served by local amenities. It is close to a railway station (on the Manchester - Sheffield line) and in the Village centre (2 minutes walk away) there is a small shop, a great cafe and two pubs, both of which serve food.
