Location

Edale and the Hope Valley lie in the centre of the Peak District, conveniently situated for walking from the door to Kinder Scout, mountain biking, climbing and all types of outdoor activities. It is also a perfect location from which to explore all the major attractions of the Peak District, such as Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, Dove Dale, Castleton caverns etc.

The cottage is well served by local amenities. It is close to a railway station (on the Manchester - Sheffield line) and in the Village centre (2 minutes walk away) there is a small shop, a great cafe and two pubs, both of which serve food.

Originally built as the village police station from local stone the cottage is in the perfect location, there are fantastic walks from the door and it is just yards away from the village centre yet set back from the road. It has wonderful big windows so you can enjoy the fabulous views. Bit more info on Edale here
